Aspect-Oriented Software Development 2023/24

Seminars

At seminars, you are going to present the ideas behind your project objective, state of the art, or even initial results. We all are going to discuss what has been presented starting with the questions and comments provided by two discussants (see below).

Enter your name and topic into the seminar schedule.

Presentation

Prepare a presntation of no more than 12 minutes (10 minutes recommended). Bear in mind that you want your presentation to initiate a discussion.

You may present in English or in Slovak.

Submit the slides (best as a PDF document) of your presentation before or immediately after you have delivered it into the corresponding submission site in AIS.

Discussion

To unleash a discussion, each topic will have two discussants assigned. The authors should provide their discussants with whatever information they can provide in advance, so that the discussants have enough time to prepare for a discussion. Of course, what exactly they are going to say depends on the actual content delivered during the presentation.

Afterwards, a general discussion takes place. Do not hesitate to comment and ask questions. Also, discussions need not be limited only to class time.

Assessment

The assessment of the seminar topic presentation consists of:

  1. The presentation itself – 15 b
  2. Discussion contributions – 5 b
